found an interesting website to download TVB themes. and i finally found my Aqua Heroes main theme song by Bobo Chan and Edwin Siu. and of cos many other themes too... as you should know, im an avid follower of HK cantonese serials. been a while since i played the piano, more than a yr i suppose since i last touched it. played for about 30mins just now. fingers are hard now, not as flexible as they used to be when i could play fast notes really well. i thought typing could help, but looks like its not helping much. gonna try and practice on the piano more often now, if i could be disciplined to do so. well, for those who dunno about my music background and are alittle amazed that i can play an instrument... just a little info. nothing much to be proud about though. started playing the violin since 4, performed a couple of times, most notably at the Victoria Concert Hall... all the way till the age of 12. but well, violin was not sth i particularly liked at that time, i always dreaded playing it, but it was my parents' idea. but now that i think back, its quite a pity i din continue, cos i do love listen to violin pieces now. its beautiful. anyway, stopped violin at 12, and started on the piano. on and off with a private teacher, played most pieces on my own, since i had the music background and could pick it up pretty quickly. it was fun, enjoyed it more than the violin at that time. stopped during the O'Level years though, and nv quite picked it back again. laziness and ill discipline falling thru. and now my fingers are hard and stiff, i dunno if i can ever play as well again. well, so this little piece of history in little Clem's life explains his love for classical music, orchestras and such. and for others who feel that i have a weird liking for music that's different from you "pop/techno/rock lovers", i grew up listening to oldies from my parents' era - be it english or cantonese ones from their time. when u grow up in such an environment, its difficult for someone not to like what was deeply embedded into their mind since young. and perhaps the fact that i dun like the modern way songs are being written and sung (of cos there are exceptions), probably explains why i still remain in close contact with my childhood days when it comes to music. the love remains forever close to my heart, passionately ingrained in me, built in a thing of the past, things u may never understand and see. You know it makes sense!
